About The Position

MedPro Group is hiring a year-round Claims Data Analytics Intern for its Fort Wayne, Indiana office. The position involves preparing claims reports, presentations, audit materials, and operational metrics; maintaining claims-related records; and coordinating with claims managers and vendors. The ideal candidate will work part-time hours beginning in November and be available to work 15–20 hours per week during the school year and summer. The role is onsite.

Requirements

Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Actuarial Science.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Availability to work year-round in the Fort Wayne office for 15–20 hours per week during the school year and summer.
Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Prepare weekly claim activity reports and distribute high-level management metrics.
Maintain the Defense Panel list and prepare semi-annual updates of the Defense Panel Scorecard.
Prepare the monthly Claims optimization presentation.
Work with Divisional Claim managers to support optimization of operational metrics.
Assist with preparing monthly International Claims files and presentations.
Select claims and prepare forms for quarterly claims audits.
Validate monthly vendor reports and load them into the claim management system.
Correspond with vendors.
Assist with ad hoc claim audits and data requests.
Take on other projects as assigned.
Participate in company and community activities.
