About The Position

MedPro Group is seeking a year-round hybrid Claims Data Analytics Intern to work remotely and on-site at its Fort Wayne, Indiana office. The ideal candidate would begin part-time hours in April 2027. The position supports claims operations through reporting, data validation, audits, presentations, and coordination with claim managers and vendors. The intern is expected to be available for 15–20 hours per week during the school year and summer and to participate in company and community activities.

Requirements

Active enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Actuarial Science.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Year-round availability to work 15–20 hours per week in the Fort Wayne office during the school year and summer.
Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Prepare weekly claim activity reports and distribute high-level management metrics.
Maintain the Defense Panel list.
Prepare semi-annual updates of the Defense Panel Scorecard.
Prepare the monthly Claims optimization presentation.
Work directly with Divisional Claim managers to help optimize operational metrics.
Assist with preparation of monthly International Claims files and presentations.
Select claims and prepare forms for quarterly claims audits.
Validate monthly vendor reports and load them into the claim management system.
Correspond with vendors.
Assist with ad hoc claim audits and data requests.
Take on other projects as assigned.
Participate in company and community activities.
