About The Position

Extreme Networks is seeking an Intern to support the Channel sales teams. This team is responsible for driving new business, as well as building and maintaining customer loyalty in a key segment of Extreme’s customer base which includes Professional Sports Associations and Top College and University sports programs. As a member of the team, the intern will interact with various cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and channels to help drive our go-to-market strategy and support some of our top initiatives. While a majority of the work will be from the intern’s remote/home office, there may be occasion for the intern to attend meetings in an Extreme office location or customer site (if within a reasonable distance from the intern’s home).

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Marketing, Professional Selling, or a related field.
  • Ideally in their 3rd or 4th year, with a graduation date of 2027 or later.
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive and eager to learn.
  • Skilled at using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team in growing revenue within the assigned territory.
  • Help prospect new business while supporting the growth of the existing install base.
  • Participate in business planning and reporting activities (e.g., monthly forecasts, pipeline development).
  • Develop relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct research and assessment of market expansion opportunities, analyzing market size, competitive landscape, channel readiness, and digital marketplace maturity across target regions.
