About The Position
The Casting Intern will support the Sony Pictures Television Casting team, which oversees casting for scripted series across Sony Pictures Television shows and works daily with agents, managers, casting directors, and network executives. This paid, seasonal internship offers hands-on work, structured learning, executive engagement, and networking opportunities for students and early-career professionals. Interns must work part-time, 10–29 hours per week, in person at the designated office location. The program runs from January 4 or 11, 2027, through April 16, 2027, with flexible start and end dates. The anticipated base salary is $19 per hour; the role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits.
Requirements
- Passion and focus on casting.
- Experience with basic Microsoft Office.
- Interest in entertainment, television, and acting.
- Web- and tech-savvy, with proficiency in social media.
- A good eye for talent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Research actors for shows and create lists for upcoming series.
- Track new and up-and-coming actors.
- Assist executives with tests, table reads, and studio sessions.

- Support executive scheduling, data entry, and phone management.
