About The Position

Ayar Labs is seeking a Business Development intern for a term from May to August 2027. The intern will help advance an AI-assisted industry analysis and synthesis tool, building on a foundation established in 2026. The role involves evolving the platform into a richer, more automated capability that helps the business stay ahead of a rapidly changing market. The position is on-site at the company's San Jose office. Immigration support is unavailable except for F-1, and relocation support is not provided.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business and/or Finance, with an emphasis on market strategy.
• Foundational understanding of AI tool use.
• Proficiency with mainstream and emerging AI-enabled business tools and methods.
• Experience with technical market analysis, customer-oriented thinking, and business planning.
• Strong interest in AI infrastructure and technology markets, and willingness to tackle challenging goals.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with engineering, building, or working with computer or technology hardware.
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools in innovative, high-leverage ways.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Extend an existing AI pipeline to ingest and process a wide range of sources.
• Build logic to extract, normalize, and structure market signals in a consistent, comparable format.
• Help complete and refine a real-time dashboard for sharing insights with internal teams and external partners.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and flag gaps, ensuring every data point is backed by a source.
• Identify, analyze, and clearly report industry and market trends using diverse data sources.
• Use AI tools throughout the workflow to accelerate research, synthesis, and structured reporting.
• Introduce and operationalize AI-enabled approaches that improve how the company plans and makes decisions.
• Deliver actionable analysis and recommendations that influence business leaders and executives.
