About The Position

This is a paid internship opportunity at Philips in Plymouth, MN, for individuals currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) or graduate (MS) degree. The role offers hands-on experience in AI solution development, data and systems integration, process automation, analytics, and documentation within a HealthTech company. Interns will work with technologies like Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Azure-based repositories to design, build, test, and optimize AI agents and automated workflows, connect solutions to enterprise data, measure business impact, and support governance activities.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or SQL, and a basic understanding of data structures and data management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and optimize AI agents and conversational AI experiences using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including prompts, instructions, grounding, and knowledge sources.
Support AI agent workflows and troubleshoot solutions to improve effectiveness and user experience.
Connect AI solutions to enterprise data sources including SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Teams, Power BI, and Azure-based repositories, supporting data preparation, transformation, and validation.
Support Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions that leverage internal business content and enterprise data.
Develop automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and related technologies to streamline business processes and reduce manual activities.
Identify opportunities to create scalable, repeatable solutions that improve productivity and reduce administrative burden.
Develop dashboards and reporting to measure solution adoption, user feedback, and business impact, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Support business cases and recommendations for broader deployment of successful AI solutions.
Document solution architecture, workflows, and deployment processes, while creating user guides, training materials, and enablement content.
Support governance, compliance, and operational readiness activities for AI solutions.
