The Advanced Technology Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors Program Area is seeking a dynamic intern to support existing Contract Research and Development programs, business opportunities, and regular business activities including operational performance, sales, and cost reduction. Opportunities are available to learn and support finance, supply chain, human resources, marketing, and business management tasks using industry-leading tools and processes. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials, experience in teamwork, strong interpersonal skills, an inquisitive nature, and a desire to learn real-world applications.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), such as business, finance, supply chain, operations, or a closely-related field and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1 (DoD Clearance: Secret).
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools.
- Previous Engineering project and/or internship experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working in teams.
- Results-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Applying your academic knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team.
- Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads.
- Support both existing Contract Research and Development programs and business opportunities, as well as other regular business activities including operational performance, sales, and cost reduction.
- Learn and help support finance, supply chain, human resources, marketing and business management tasks using our industry-leading tools and processes.
