The Advanced Technology Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors Program Area is seeking a dynamic intern to learn and support existing engineering development programs and new business capture. The intern will apply Raytheon industry-leading tools, processes, and technologies to hardware, software, large-scale system of systems prototypes, modeling and simulation, and other exciting fields. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic credentials, experience in a teamwork environment, strong interpersonal skills, an inquisitive nature, and a strong desire to learn real-world applications to complement their academic experience.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools
  • Previous Engineering project and/or internship experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working in teams
  • Results-oriented with good problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Applying your engineering knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team.
  • Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads.
