Our Advanced Technology Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors Program Area is looking for a dynamic intern to join their team! The intern will learn and support both existing engineering development programs and new business capture. The intern will learn and apply Raytheon industry-leading tools, processes and technologies to hardware, software and large-scale system of systems prototypes, modeling and simulation and other exciting fields. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience in working in a teamwork environment, having not only academic, but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams. Additionally, the candidate should possess an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to complement their academic experience.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools
- Previous Engineering project and/or internship experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working in teams
- Results-oriented with good problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Applying your engineering knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team.
- Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads.
