Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering or Physics and be actively enrolled through completion of the intern session.
Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as Unigraphics/NX, or equivalent 3D modeling software.
Experience with software programming languages such as MATLAB, LabVIEW or Python.

Nice To Haves

Previous engineering intern experience at an aerospace company
Experience with testing, manufacturing, and technical group projects
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include working on tasks related to commercial engines, military engines or both depending on business need.
This position provides challenging assignments that support the development of new measurement techniques and diagnostic capabilities used to verify the structural integrity of gas turbine engines.
Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include sensor development, hardware/software design and assembly, bench testing, electrical system design, algorithm development, instrumentation installations, test monitoring and report generation.
