About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody values of excellence, compassion, teamwork, and purpose to join their Talent Acquisition team in the role of Intermediate Talent Acquisition Consultant. This role serves as a strategic partner to the Nursing Recruitment Team, managing the full life cycle recruitment process for nursing departments. The position is full-time, day-shift, and operates in a hybrid capacity, requiring on-site presence in the downtown Indianapolis office as needed. Responsibilities include conducting intake conversations with hiring leaders, designing and posting positions, executing advanced sourcing strategies for active and passive talent, managing the end-to-end recruitment process (screening, interview coordination, candidate selection, pre-hire preparation), ensuring a seamless new hire experience, applying total rewards strategies for compensation packages, providing workforce planning analysis, and leading special projects focused on sophisticated sourcing and project management. The consultant will guide leaders in talent selection while maintaining high standards for candidate experience and the offer process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Knowledge of compensation structures.
  • Experience applying processes and guidelines for internal and external candidate hires.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR related regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.).
  • Knowledge in passive sourcing approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated success implementing sourcing strategies and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Proficiency using an applicant tracking system.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience within a matrixed organization.
  • Experience with internet sourcing and recruiting strategies and practices.
