Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure and Services, the Intermediate Systems Administrator will provide support to the hospital’s compute environment which includes servers, operating systems, SAN, backup/restore technologies etc. The role is part of the Tier 3 team, which means that the role is expected to handle any escalations and support the ICT Service Desk, the Business and Clinical Applications Team, vendors and partners (such as eHealth Ontario, SHINE partners, LHINs etc.). The incumbent is expected to use their technical knowledge to troubleshoot, deploy various tools and systems to meet the requirements of both the operational business, technical and application teams. The position requires participation in a rotational On-Call service for the hospital.
