About The Position

Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, is hiring a Project Manager in Latin America to join its global team of IT professionals. The company operates remotely across more than 55 countries on five continents. In this role, you will guide a newly formed mobile development team adapting a successful point-of-sale (POS) system to a new market. You will coordinate team activities with project goals, support effective people management, facilitate Scrum practices, and help ensure smooth execution, clear communication, and alignment with business goals.

The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a product adaptation affecting real businesses, receive onboarding and ongoing support, and collaborate with international teams. The role is open to contractors.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of project management experience, with strong knowledge of project management theory and tools.
• Strong people management and team facilitation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with metrics such as predictability, estimation, velocity, capacity, and change request volume.
• Excellent reporting skills and hands-on experience.
• Solid understanding of Scrum and experience facilitating Scrum events.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt, follow instructions, and take guidance.
• Open-minded, stakeholder-oriented, and friendly approach.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Statement of Work (SOW) processes and documentation.
• Experience with budget planning.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events and guide the team in Scrum practices.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings and support team members.
• Manage stakeholder communication to align priorities and support successful project delivery.
• Track project progress and metrics and provide effective reporting.
• Adjust team priorities based on task estimation and stakeholder feedback.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
• Promote open and transparent communication within the team.
• Keep project documentation organized and up to date.
• Support alignment of team activities with the project scope, deliverables, and goals outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Assist with budget planning and resource allocation as needed.
