About The Position

RiverTech is looking for an Intermediate Project Manager to work in Camp Springs, MD. The ideal candidate provides Project Management support to the Office of Facilities and Infrastructure (OFI) for Logistics Management Division (LMD) by performing research and analysis in the development of program or project activities for one or more programs supporting LMD stakeholders and OFI leadership.

Requirements

  • Ability to track progress on projects and provide ongoing reports to leadership/program sponsors.
  • Able to create and develop project management plans (e.g., project charters, project management plans) using project management software (Project, Visio, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience managing project lifecycles, leading teams, and meeting project deadlines under general supervision.
  • Ability to define project scope, create realistic timetables, manage resource allocation, and track workflows from ideation to closure.
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills.
  • BA and 2-5 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to obtain suitability clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop standard and ad hoc project management reports using software such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Coordinate task activities with contract staff to identify duplicative processes/tasks, recommend consolidation, review for leaning, and submit recommendations.
  • Review requirements documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze, document, and diagram business models and processes associated with program implementation; lead discussions on options to gain efficiency and improve current branch processes.
  • Provide business process modeling & reengineering support.
  • Provide project scheduling support.
  • Facilitate Integrated Project Teams, conduct organizational assessments, and perform cost/benefit analyses.
  • Prepare and present white papers and progress reports; assist management with analysis of costs, schedules, and performance.
  • Prepare budgetary projection development process.
  • Prepare project documents and status reports.
  • Support project management phases including planning, execution, and result monitoring.
  • Coordinate project activity and facilitate staff and IPT meetings.
  • Assist the Government in recommending new or changes to existing procedures, outreach materials, and training.
