About The Position

Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, the Intermediate Marketing Coordinator assists with integrated marketing initiatives for Urbacon, focusing on proposals, collateral, event coordination, and development of digital collateral material. This role requires expertise in Adobe Suite, multitasking skills, flexibility and commitment to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a communications, marketing, design or related program.
  • Three to five years of marketing experience, preferably in the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) or real estate/data centre industries.
  • Strong graphic design background with advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite, plus demonstrated comfort experimenting with Al-based design tools (e.g., for image generation, layout variations and quick mock-ups) within established brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); WordPress or similar CMS experience is an asset.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills, with the ability to translate technical or complex concepts into clear, compelling content.
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously, while communicating progress and constraints to management.
  • Experience coordinating small events or campaigns, including logistics, vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as a collaborative member of the Marketing and Business Development team, interacting confidently with senior leaders and project teams.
  • Energetic, proactive and calm under pressure, with a solutions-focused mindset and willingness to work occasional extended hours when required to meet key deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Create the design portion of high quality, persuasive business development materials (proposal responses, pitch decks, presentations, briefs) that support winning new work, leveraging both Adobe Suite and Al-based design tools where appropriate.
  • Use advanced layout and visual storytelling skills to enhance the clarity, persuasiveness and design quality of proposals and presentations in Adobe Suite and PowerPoint.
  • Maintain strict alignment with Urbacon brand standards across all marketing materials, ensuring consistency in messaging, visuals and tone, including across all swag and merchandise.
  • Draft, proofread and edit marketing content, including brochures, web copy, social posts, e-mail campaigns and corporate announcements, ensuring accuracy and a professional voice.
  • Design and update corporate brochures, one-pagers, infographics and other collateral using Adobe Suite and Al-supported image and layout tools, always within established brand guidelines.
  • Help maintain and update company website(s), coordinating content, imagery and news items that reflect Urbacon projects and milestones.
  • Implement and monitor strategic social media campaigns across Urbacon and UDCS channels, including content calendars, post scheduling and basic performance tracking, using Al tools where appropriate for visual and copy ideation.
  • Coordinate small internal and external events such as client meetings, lunch-and- learns and industry functions.
  • Coordinate the design, sourcing, purchase and distribution of promotional items, event giveaways and corporate gifts.
  • Assist with market and competitor research.
  • Coordinate and produce site, project and event photography/video assignments, including brief development.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that reflect Urbacon's core values and reputation for construction excellence.
  • Collaborate with senior management and the Director of Marketing to develop proposal strategies, win themes and presentation content.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines, proactively communicating status updates, risks and resource needs to stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties, including participation in special projects, corporate campaigns and initiatives as required.
