About The Position

This role involves overseeing and assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of Absence Management Programs. The position requires providing case management, developing educational materials, and formulating procedures for both long-term and short-term employee placements. The goal is to promote quality, cost-effective outcomes and coordinate the Disability Intervention Program, ensuring successful returns to work for team members.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in leave administration.
  • Experience with FMLA, Worker's Compensation, ADAAA laws, LTD, STD, and Cobra.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Certified Professional Disability Management (CPDM) and Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of Absence Management Programs.
  • Provide case management and develop educational materials and procedures for employee placements.
  • Promote quality, cost-effective outcomes in Absence Management.
  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Disability Intervention Program.
  • Provide guidance to other professionals in facilitating Absence Management processes.
  • Facilitate and monitor the successful return to work of team members.
