Requirements

  • Registered architect in Manitoba (MAA), or eligibility to be registered in the province
  • 5+ years of experience working in a similar role
  • Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Visualization software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365 environment, and Bluebeam
  • Experience with Healthcare or Security & Defence projects
  • Bilingual (English and French)

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the project design lead(s) to realize the design vision for the project(s)
  • Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings
  • Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Ensure clear client communication
  • Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets
  • Manage the financial aspect of the project, including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing and working with accounting to achieve the desired results.
  • Supporting the team on pursuing work through assisting with RFP preparation, including schedule and fees
