Interior Paint Technician- Night Shift
About The Position
A Line X Technician will apply Line X by applying basecoat and texture coat. They will coordinate with Line X vendors to maintain electrical and mechanical machinery. The Line X Technician will apply bedliner and flatblack to meet specs and uphold customer desires. Also, they will prepare individual parts by sanding and priming. Night shift would be M-Th 4:30p-2:30a. All employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED.
- Strong mechanical and technical ability required.
- Able to follow written and verbal directions.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Able to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process and/or troubleshoot.
- Able to identify quality issues, recognize changes within the production process, and adjust as needed.
- Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines.
- Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
- Able to understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in autobody preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in autobody preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous experience with Line X preferred.
Responsibilities
