About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an Interior Finish and Millwork Carpenter for the Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center in Westlake, Texas. This is a full-time position on the 2nd shift, responsible for furniture and millwork repairs, carpentry projects, and assisting guests with maintenance requests. The role involves performing work order tasks and preventive maintenance on property equipment to maintain an "as new" appearance.

Requirements

Four years’ experience as a Carpenter or similar job.
Demonstrated skills in millwork, drywall, furniture repair, cabinetry building and repairs, painting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, relating to their field of expertise.
Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

Finish/refinish/repair furniture and mill work on property to maintain “as new” appearance.
Identify and match wood types, grains, and stains.
Resolve work requests for both internal and external guests, producing quality results in an efficient manner.
Perform preventative maintenance and maintain logs in an organized manner.
Identify problems, initiate work orders, accomplish assigned work orders, and perform all necessary repairs relating to their expertise.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and guests.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
Maintain inventory of tools in use.
Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system.
Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
