About The Position

//3877 is a boutique design firm seeking an interior designer with 2 to 5 years of experience, ideally in hospitality design. The firm works on hotels, restaurants, and residences in a creative, collaborative environment. The role supports projects from concept design through construction documents and construction administration, and involves working closely with the interior design team, clients, and consultants. The firm describes its office as a lively, unconventional space with graffiti-filled walls, skateboard displays, beer on tap, and occasional 1980s music.

Requirements

Diploma from a recognized college in Interior Design or a similar field.
A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience within the last year in a similar position involving hospitality design.
Deep understanding of Revit and Adobe Suite.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, as well as email and internet.
Organization and attention to detail; ability to be proactive, take initiative, and work independently.
Outstanding communication skills.
A good attitude, willingness to teach and learn, serious motivation, a daily desire to do good work, and a love of design.

Nice To Haves

Experience in hospitality design, particularly hotels, is preferred.
Ability to quote comedic films.

Responsibilities

Participate and collaborate in design sessions.
Participate in client meetings and presentations.
Assist with producing project documents from concept design through construction documents.
Support construction administration both on site and in the office.
Participate in marketing endeavors.
Receive and follow through with technical direction.
