About The Position

The Creative Store Designer is responsible for bringing our retail spaces to life through innovative and brand-aligned design concepts. As a key member of the store design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping immersive customer experiences, translating brand identity into compelling physical environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture Visual Communication, Industrial Design, or a related field
  • Expertise in interior design, materials, and visual storytelling
  • 5+ years of experience in retail design, space planning or visual merchandising and a strong portfolio of immersive retail projects.
  • Strong understanding of digital integration, customer psychology, and emerging retail trends
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Auto CAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign preferred) or 3D rendering software (Sketchup/Enscape preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develops creative retail store designs that reflect the brand’s aesthetic, functionality, and customer experience goals.
  • Collaborates with the Interior Design Manager, Retail Concept to conceptualize and execute store layouts, fixtures, and visual elements.
  • Creates detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and mood boards to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Construction, to ensure seamless execution of design projects.
  • Assists in maintaining brand consistency across all retail locations through design guidelines and specifications.
  • Sources and recommends all design elements, collaborating with the Construction team for tender and purchase decisions.
  • Collaborates with Visual Presentation teams to integrate merchandising displays seamlessly into the overall store design.
  • Reviews architectural packages and details, making sure they adhere to Laura design standards.
  • Reviews red line submittal and shop drawings.
  • Stays informed about design trends and innovations to propose fresh ideas for store environments.
  • Supports prototype development and provides recommendations for aesthetic updates.
  • Coordinates with external consultants on technical specifications and design intent.
