About The Position

We’re a multidisciplinary design firm with a growing global footprint and more than a century of experience shaping some of the country’s most influential spaces—from university campuses and civic hubs to luxury resorts and Fortune 500 workplaces. Our Education Studio is growing, and we’re looking for an Interior Designer who’s ready to get hands-on across a range of project types and scales. In this role, you’ll contribute creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to projects ranging from cutting-edge laboratories and research spaces to student-centered environments such as dining facilities, recreation and athletic spaces, and shared campus amenities. It’s a position built for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and wants to be involved in the full arc of a project—from early ideation to built results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an CIDA-accredited institution
  • 4+ years of professional interior design experience
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • NCIDQ certification
  • A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner
  • The willingness to travel, as there will be limited travel required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and aptitude in other design software platforms preferred, including but not limited to: SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and documentation from concept to construction completion for diverse projects ranging from small to large
  • Advise clients and team on materials and finish options throughout the design process
  • Build strong relationships with clients by meeting their needs and specifications
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster a respectful and engaging studio culture that reflects Baskervill’s commitment to thoughtful, mission driven design
  • Execute the approved concept, reliably translating the design intent into Revit utilizing our firm standards
