This is a part-time position serving the Aspire Bay Area Region. Aspire Public Schools operates a network of high-performing, college-preparatory charter schools serving TK-12 scholars in communities across California. Founded in 1998—in an effort to transform the inequitable racial, social, and gender outcomes that persist in our communities—Aspire is one of the largest and most forward-thinking open-enrollment public charter school systems in the nation. Our purpose is to prepare our scholars for success in college, career, and life. At Aspire, we set a foundation for our scholars to gain knowledge, skills, and power to access and make choices for their families and post-secondary lives. Every day, our community of students, families, teachers, and staff comes together to learn, work, and play in an environment grounded in our values of Bienestar (Well-Being), Culture of Belonging, Community Partnership, Agency & Self-Determination, and Joy. GENERAL SUMMARY: In support of schools in the region functioning as robust community schools, the Regional Program Manager of Community Schools plays a key role in developing, training, implementing, and delivering comprehensive community schools programming for our school sites. This role will work closely with both our Regional Team and school-based teammates overseeing California Community Schools Partnership Programming grants for the design, implementation, and supervision of the California Community Schools Partnership Program's prevention, intervention, and enrichment activities designed to support the holistic development of students, in alignment with Aspire-wide priorities and initiatives. This role will also oversee and host regular Communities of Practice for all schools in the region that hold community schools grants. In close collaboration with all regional teammates overseeing community schools, this impactful role also supports the development of high-quality, org-wide practices aligned with the four pillars of community schools: Integrated Student Supports, Family and Community Engagement, Collaborative Leadership and Practices for Educators and Administrators, and Extended Learning Time and Opportunities.
