Interim Pharmacy Manager
About The Position
Hospital located in Nebraska is looking for an interim Pharmacy Manager to join their team. This role will facilitate the delivery of safe, effective, and pharmacoeconomically rational medications to hematology/oncology patients. The manager will provide education, develop and implement guidelines, policies, and medication regimens, provide appropriate interventions, and be involved in professional development and performance improvement initiatives. They will be responsible for supervising and directing support personnel in addition to the safe and proper distribution and use of medications in hematology/oncology patients.
Requirements
- Current Pharmacist’s license issued by the Nebraska State Board of Pharmacy.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Expectation of Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within first year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) preferred.
