About The Position

Preferred Professional Services (PPS) is a proud affiliate of National Health Care Associates, a growing network of more than 40 short-term rehabilitation and long-term care centers. This role is for an Interim Director of Nursing Services (DNS) who will provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, setting goals and objectives aligned with the organization's mission. The DNS will foster excellence and innovation in nursing care, shaping the facility's culture and driving the advancement of healthcare practice. The position has 24-hour accountability and is responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient/resident and employee satisfaction.

Requirements

• Valid state RN nursing license
• Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery
• Visionary mindset with a focus on innovation and quality improvement
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree or certification preferred
• Experience in a senior nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care or similar healthcare setting preferred
