About The Position

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring an Interim Director of Pharmacy / PIC for a hospital assignment in the Logan, Ohio area . Assignment Details
Start: March 16, 2026
Typical Schedule: 4x10s
Pharmacy Hours: Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On-call: Required when pharmacy is closed (typically 1–2 calls per week)
Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend starting March 28, plus on-call from Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM
System: Epic (training available)
Automation: Pyxis

Requirements

• Active OH Pharmacist License
• Inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Experience with IVs and 340B
• Ability to work independently in a leadership role
• Background check (BCI and FBI)
• Drug screen
• Quantiferon TB-Gold
• Influenza vaccine
• Copy of driver’s license and Social Security card
• HIPAA Code of conduct review and signed attestation
• Some site-specific requirements may change

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations as Director of Pharmacy and PIC
• Perform pharmacist staffing duties including order verification and dispensing
• Manage scheduling, meetings, and narcotics ordering
• Participate in sterile compounding and support day-to-day pharmacy operations
