About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Sabetha, KS. This position is a contract role for 8-13 weeks, with variable day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, for 8-hour shifts and guaranteed 40 hours per week. The DON will oversee daily nursing department operations, ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards, supervise nursing staff, coordinate patient care, support staffing, scheduling, and clinical operations, and assist on the floor when needed. They will also maintain quality care standards and documentation compliance.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Previous DON experience required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Active RN License (Required)
Nice To Haves
- LTC/Skilled Nursing experience preferred
- Experience managing multiple nursing units
- Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations
- Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams
