About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing (DON) for a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in beautiful Western Montana. This is a great opportunity for a strong nursing leader who enjoys rural healthcare, working with a close-knit team, and making a meaningful impact. The hospital offers Acute Care, Swing Bed, Intermediate Swing / LTC, and a 24/7 Emergency Department. The facility utilizes Athena EMR and is situated in a supportive rural healthcare environment. Housing may be available when facility housing is open.
Requirements
- Previous Director of Nursing or nursing leadership experience
- Strong Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
- Knowledge of Acute Care, Swing Bed and Long-Term Care operations
- Excellent leadership, communication and team-building skills
- A passion for rural healthcare
