About The Position

We’re seeking a strong, hands-on Interim Controller to join a growing organization and partner closely with the existing Accounting Manager. The Interim Controller will report to the Executive Director of Corporate Finance and CFO and oversee a broad range of accounting and finance operations. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, navigating ambiguity, solving problems, and bringing structure to a high-volume environment.

Requirements

Strong Controller-level accounting experience
Experience working in a high-volume accounting environment
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Comfort operating in an environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and organizational nuances
A hands-on approach and willingness to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the accounting team
Experience improving processes, documenting procedures, and creating efficiencies

Nice To Haves

Experience with NetSuite, Paycor, and Tipalti is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and partner closely with the Accounting Manager
Manage and oversee payroll, including accuracy, taxes, benefits, and overall payroll processes
Oversee AP/AR, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Manage cash flow, treasury, and bank account activities
Ensure payments are processed accurately and on time
Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliations
Support month-end and ongoing accounting activities
Identify gaps in processes, documentation, and controls and develop practical solutions
Identify opportunities to streamline, consolidate, and improve accounting processes
Serve as a trusted resource to senior finance leadership and help bring stability and structure to the accounting function
