About The Position

Ascension is seeking an Interim Chief Nursing Officer to join their Ascension Travel Program & Interim Leadership team. This full-time role will be based at multiple Ascension acute care hospitals. The Interim CNO will collaborate with hospital leadership and medical staff to identify and develop new patient care programs, policies, procedures, and practice standards. They will also develop and implement a comprehensive program to measure, assess, and improve the quality of nursing care, evaluate the function and structure of assigned areas for appropriate resource allocation and budget utilization in alignment with strategic goals, and ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to nursing services and healthcare delivery.

Requirements

Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Master's degree required.
5 years of experience required.
2 years of leadership or management experience required.

Nice To Haves

10 years of experience preferred.
5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
3-5 years of previous experience as a CNO

Responsibilities
