The Interfacility Transport Nurse is responsible for providing ongoing monitoring, assessment, and appropriate interventions for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients during interfacility transports. This role requires expertise in critical care nursing within a mobile environment (ground, rotor, fixed wing), including performing necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, administering medications, and collaborating with the Transport Medical Control Physician (TMCP) and other team members. The nurse will also play a key role in ensuring patient and crew safety, maintaining transport equipment, and communicating effectively with referring and receiving facilities.
