The Interfacility Transport Nurse (0.9 FTE, 7p-7a) is responsible for providing ongoing monitoring, assessment, and appropriate interventions for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients with pediatric medical history during interfacility transports. This role requires expertise in critical care, including stabilization, airway management, and medication administration in a mobile environment (ground, rotor, fixed wing). The nurse will collaborate with the Transport RCP and TMCP, manage changes in clinical situations, and ensure the safety and quality of care throughout the transport process. Additionally, the role involves operating and maintaining transport equipment, communicating effectively with all parties involved, and participating in professional development and leadership activities.
