This is a hands-on manufacturing position that combines production work with process monitoring and troubleshooting. The Intercept Process Tech monitors equipment, performs quality checks, makes process adjustments, identifies issues, and partners with Maintenance and Engineering when needed. The role also includes assembly and production work on the line. While there is a technical component, this is not an engineering or supervisory position. Most of the day is spent on the production floor supporting operations, monitoring processes, troubleshooting issues, and helping keep the line running efficiently. The role requires a high level of ownership, reliability, and self-direction, and employees are expected to be ready to begin startup activities before production begins, so the scheduled shift reflects an earlier start time than the production line's operating start time. The incumbent of this position will support Manufacturing by monitoring and adjusting all operating parameters to the Intercept roll-formers, extruders, ovens, and presses to maintain process control, as well as completing direct assembly tasks on the line. This role starts 20-30 minutes prior to the start of the regular shift.
