About The Position
Nacar is an award-winning Strategic Design Agency based in Barcelona, with a growing studio in Porto Alegre, Brazil. We are looking for an Interaction & UI Designer to join our Porto Alegre studio. This role will focus on digital product experiences, translating UX requirements, research insights, and user stories into detailed, high-quality interaction and UI design solutions. You will collaborate closely with product, research, and engineering teams to create human-centered products and services.
Requirements
- Solid experience in interaction design, UX design, and prototyping.
- Strong skills in user flows, information architecture, interaction patterns, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI design.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, accessibility, and human-centered design.
- Proficiency in Figma and design system-based design.
- Experience applying and contributing to Design Systems and component libraries.
- Comfortable collaborating in Agile product delivery environments.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Create user flows, interaction models, wireframes, low-fidelity concepts, high-fidelity Figma mockups, and clickable prototypes.
- Apply the client's Design System and reusable components and patterns consistently across all deliverables.
- Translate UX requirements, research insights, user stories, and acceptance criteria into usable, well-crafted design solutions.
- Iterate designs based on research findings, usability results, stakeholder feedback, technical input, and product priorities.
- Support backlog refinement, solution planning, and design discussions with product and technical teams.
- Conduct self- and peer-reviews for usability, consistency, accessibility, and design system alignment.
- Prepare approved designs for development handover, including specifications, flows, interaction behavior, and implementation notes.
- Support development teams during implementation and review development output against approved designs.
- Support usability testing by preparing prototypes, observing sessions, and updating designs based on findings.
