Inter-Company Customer Service & Production Planner
About The Position
Join Morgan as the link between our inter-company customers and manufacturing teams—keeping orders, inventory, schedules, and commitments moving in the right direction. This role serves as the primary contact between inter-company customers and facility teams, preparing quotes, managing order entry, acknowledgments, and follow-up. The planner will build achievable production schedules around demand, capacity, materials, and lead times, while monitoring inventory, replenishment needs, forecasts, and delivery commitments. This position requires partnering with Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, Production, and Manufacturing to resolve issues, identifying demand and capacity conflicts early, and using ERP planning messages and production data to keep priorities aligned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service, planning, or manufacturing experience.
- Strong communication, organization, negotiation, and follow-through.
- Confidence working across departments and building lasting customer relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree, CPIM certification, or five years of manufacturing experience preferred.
