About The Position

Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Manager, this position is responsible for the coordination and execution of subassembly completion schedules. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary.

Requirements

Basic math skills.
Understanding and interpretation of blueprints.

Bachelors Degree or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinates all activities on subassemblies to meet or exceed manufacturing due dates.
Communicates with purchasing and master planning regarding material requirements to support releases and work in process.
Supports administration of manufacturing work orders through performing work order splits and quantity adjustments.
Reviews master production schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Prepares production reports.
Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
