About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Inter City Fleet Driver/Transporter to drive rental vehicles between locations, including rental sites, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots, based on operational needs. The role helps ensure vehicles are available where needed to support customer demand and a smooth customer experience. Drivers follow established driving standards and safety procedures while supporting fleet operations. This position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Comfort driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work on-site; the position cannot be performed remotely.

Responsibilities

• Drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots based on operational needs.
• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to support vehicle availability and customer demand.
• Follow established driving standards and safety procedures.
• Support smooth fleet operations and the customer experience.
