First Resources Corp. is growing, and we are hiring for a Supervisor to oversee our Intensive Residential Service Home in the Ottumwa, IA. Intensive Residential Services serves adults with mental health, behavioral health, intellectual disabilities or co-occurring conditions. This is a short-term, hand-on intensive rehabilitation service provided within the client's home. The goal of the service is to help individuals stabilize by assisting with medication compliance, appointment compliance, comprehension, crisis planning, behavior modification, and skill building so they can successfully reintegrate back into the community of their choice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Have at least one year of experience working in mental and/or behavioral health services.
• Computer literate with knowledge of databased programs and Microsoft Suite.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without restrictions.
• Must have a valid driver's license and personal auto insurance as required by the State of Iowa and be insurable under the company's insurance.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have access to a telephone.
• Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aide Certification within the initial 30 days of employment, and actively maintain certification throughout employment.
• Successfully complete and pass all required competency-based training requirements within the allowed timeframe and on-going training as due each time.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate leadership.
• Provide oversite of the day-to-day operations.
• Conduct referral screenings, admissions, and prepare clients for a smooth transition.
• Ensure all aspects of HCBS services are provided in accordance with the client's plans.
• Coordinate client care including but not limited to conducting weekly client coordination sessions, monthly client team meetings, and communicating with the client's team.
• Supervise employees, including developing employee schedules, engaging in frequent check-ins, coachings, and completing annual employee reviews.
• Onboard new employees and provide on-going training and support to all employees.
