About The Position

New River Valley Community Services’ KPACT Team is seeking an Intensive KPACT Family Clinician! This unique position will provide direct interventions to individuals with serious emotional disturbance who may have been expelled from school, or sent to a psychiatric or residential facility. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or other license-eligible human services related field is required.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one-year clinical experience working with youth who have serious mental illnesses, substance use and/ or developmental disability is desired
  • Licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist is preferred.
  • Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
