About The Position

We are looking for an Intelligent Real Estate (IRE) Platform Developer to join TLC Engineering Solutions (TLC) in Tampa, FL. The IRE Platform Developer is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of TLC’s Intelligent Real Estate platform, as well as the responsibilities below: Assist in integrating building systems, design models, and operational data into a cohesive platform environment. Collaborate with internal teams to apply IRE solutions across projects and client engagements. Research and evaluate emerging technologies related to smart buildings, building systems, and digital infrastructure. Support initiatives that improve project delivery, building performance, and lifecycle value through IRE capabilities. Ensure consistency with internal standards, workflows, and best practices for platform development and deployment. Assist with testing, validation, and quality assurance of platform functionality and system integrations. Contribute to documentation, training materials, and user support for internal adoption of the IRE platform. Participate in pilot projects and innovation efforts that demonstrate the value of Intelligent Real Estate to clients.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3–7 years of relevant experience in engineering systems, digital platforms, or technology development.
Advanced degree programs would be considered equivalent.
Working knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, controls) and their operational relationships.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work within cross-functional teams.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies in a practical setting.

Nice To Haves

Experience with data integration, databases, or system interfaces is preferred.
Familiarity with building modeling tools (such as Revit) and their use in data-driven workflows is preferred.
