About The Position

The Intelligence Technical Engineer provides expert-level technical subject matter expertise and hands-on systems administration and help desk support for the client. This role is part of a multidisciplinary contractor team focused on Intelligence modeling within the client’s simulation tools, simulation-to-stimulation (SIM-STIM) data paths, and rigorous Cybersecurity compliance. The engineer will apply Intelligence technical expertise during helpdesk support for over 40 fielded sites and serve as the primary liaison to Government leadership, ensuring the client’s facility operates in total alignment with regulations while overseeing the technical integration of constructive military simulations into Army Command Systems. Responsibilities include developing relationships with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management. The engineer will implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises. They will perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas, and leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise. The role also involves providing on-site support for Intelligence modeling and Cybersecurity tasks, managing and maintaining Upper Enclave (UE) architectures to ensure high availability and high fidelity for simulation-driven intelligence data, enforcing compliance with IC, DoD, and other cybersecurity directives, overseeing Information Assurance (IA) and Configuration Management (CM) support activities, managing the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) lifecycle (including dissemination, reporting, and remediation), and assisting contractor support to ensure strict adherence to SCI security protocols and administrative instructions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with WAR SIM Intelligence Module (WIM)
  • Experience with Validation, Verification, and Accreditation (VV&A) and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) evaluation information system security activities
  • Experience with WIM software development and Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Solaris families of operating systems
  • Experience in setting up and operating WIM and Intelligence partner systems, and with Intelligence mission threads and Intelligence mission command system stimulation
  • Experience with JLCCTC Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and Radiant Mercury
  • Experience in software testing, analysis, help desk support, troubleshooting, and writing Problem Tracker Reports (PTRs)
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ Certification

  • Linux+ or Microsoft Operating System environment certification
  • Completion of Mission Command Digital Master Gunner (MCDMG) Course
