About The Position

Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking a qualified Intelligence Management Specialist to provide programmatic support to Space Force Space Operations Command. This role involves a full range of intelligence and administrative support to analysts, engineers, and scientists, assisting in strategic planning, program development, and the production of intelligence products related to space ISR technologies and trends. The specialist will collaborate with various teams, document processes, and evaluate contract performance within the SpOC/S2 portfolio.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Minimum of twelve years of experience performing duties and responsibilities related to the Intelligence Management Specialist’s responsibilities.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Intelligence Management Specialist’s activities required to meet mission requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

  • Provides a full range of intelligence and administrative support to assist analysts, engineers, and scientists involved in a variety of intelligence disciplines and activities.
  • Support POM preparation based on current funding, manpower, and projects, and assist in development of near-term investment strategies focused on subsequent POM cycles.
  • Assist in preparation of Program Decision Packages (PDP), creation of support briefings, and consolidation of inputs from all relevant organizations.
  • Prepare informational command position and decision briefs, as required, for incorporation into the command's planning processes and formulated into POM strategy.
  • Review concepts and provide technical advice.
  • Produce timely research and information for Space ISR technologies to project likely upgrade or replacement paths for identified technologies in response to customer requirements.
  • Research, analyze, and fuse finished and unfinished all-source intelligence to assess and produce space technology trends.
  • Apply knowledge of technologies related to ISR capabilities, components, techniques, and environments to characterize information.
  • Provide recommendations, courses-of-action, and solutions to implement, present and record analytical conclusions and findings.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers and intelligence requirements managers to identify and fulfill intelligence needs or gaps.
  • Support team meetings, craft and disseminate meeting agendas and meeting minutes, develop meeting presentations, schedule unclassified and classified system engagements, respond to special taskings, and support additional work within the scope of the contract.
  • Document required or relevant processes, operating instructions, standard operating procedures, operational concepts, lessons learned and other information for inclusion into future operations and sustainment efforts.
  • Advise and assist with reviewing, tracking, analyzing, and evaluating issues, successes, deliverables, cost, schedule, and performance data of other contracts within the SpOC/S2 portfolio.
  • Analyze, advise, assist, and provide recommendations for the planning, development, monitoring and execution of development, procurement, sustainment efforts for ISR capabilities.
