About The Position

Assertive Professionals is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support a National Security Customer in Bethesda, MD. This is an open position within a fast-growing, employee-centric small business. The role involves providing strategic, operational, and tactical analysis based on raw intelligence from various sources, responding to changes in analytical priorities, and assisting an integrated analytical team with the production of intelligence products on Counter Terrorism (CT) topics. The analyst will also collaborate with intelligence partners, draft collection requirements, respond to requests for information, and prepare presentations and briefings.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
  • Working knowledge of databases and software programs used in the intelligence environment, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite, M3, TAC, HOTR, Google Earth, Intelink, National Exploitation System, Gemini, MIDB, GCCS-J, various message handling systems
  • 4 years of relevant experience OR 2 years of relevant experience with an Associates degree in relevant area of study; OR 0 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors or Higher degree in relevant area of study
  • Relevant fields of study include: English, Engineering, Business, the Sciences or related concentrations (e.g. Project Management, Intelligence, Public Administration, Public Policy, American Government/Governance, Law/Legal Studies, or Management/Leadership)
  • Access and work from the designated customer facility for the required work schedule
  • Perform the essential duties of the position using government/customer-furnished computers, systems, equipment, and approved peripherals
  • Access, review, enter, and communicate information through required customer systems and applications
  • Comply with all customer security, technology, facility-access, and equipment-use requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, operational, and tactical analysis as required based on raw intelligence collected from a variety of sources
  • Respond to changes in analytical priorities
  • Assist an integrated analytical team with conceptualization, production planning, research, analysis, drafting and intelligence products on identified CT topics while adhering to IC and DHS tradecraft guidance
  • Assist with analyzing all available information, reviewing raw and finished intelligence, and collaborating and coordinating with IC, DHS Intelligence Enterprise, and other partners
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing collection requirements, responding to requests for information (RFIs) or information needs of DHS leaders and stakeholders
  • Assist with presentations, briefing preparation, product preparation, peer-review, and subject matter advice
  • Respond to Government Leadership feedback during prescribed timelines
