About The Position

Raytheon - Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join a growing team within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). This role involves providing near real-time operational response to system alerts and changes, monitoring system status, and applying technical problem-solving skills. The analyst will perform and document preliminary evaluations of system problems, advise on design changes for efficiency and cost reduction, and maintain operational event logs. Utilizing technical training and experience, the analyst will evaluate system performance and enhance data processing capabilities. The position requires working in a closed environment with frequent customer and peer interaction, performing duties within a near real-time decision-making framework, and completing a required Operations Certification Process. The role operates on a rotating 24/7, 12-hour shift schedule.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • An active and in-scope TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to distinguish the difference between colors on a computer monitor (specifically red, blue, white and green)
  • 4+ years Intel Operations or Intelligence (Signals) Analysis experience with military to include military leadership
  • Knowledge or experience performing satellite mission support in a near real-time operations environment
  • Knowledge of tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, analysis and dissemination processes
  • Experience working in direct support of customers and with direct and frequent customer interaction
  • Complete Operations Certification Process required by program
  • Experience monitoring satellite activities in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Provide near real-time operational response to system alerts and changes in the system environment including system reconfiguration, data analysis, and data reporting
  • Monitor near real-time status of the system and applying near real-time technical problem-solving skills
  • Perform and document preliminary evaluation of system problems.
  • Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve operational efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations
  • Document and maintain operational event logs and records.
  • Utilize technical training and/or equivalent technical experience to evaluate system performance and enhance system operation and data processing capabilities
  • Work in a closed environment where frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers
  • Perform work in the near real-time decision-making environment and successfully complete required Operations Certification Process
  • Perform outlined duties on a rotating 24/7, 12-hour rotating shift schedule
