Turing invites intellectual property law experts to contribute to projects that fine-tune AI models. The role applies expertise in patent prosecution, trademark registration, copyright protection, and trade secret litigation to evaluate how AI handles intellectual property law questions. No prior AI experience is required; U.S. intellectual property law experience is the focus. The work includes reviewing AI-generated responses to U.S. IP hypotheticals, assessing issue spotting and legal accuracy against a structured rubric, identifying weaknesses in AI reasoning, and providing detailed annotations and written feedback. The expert will collaborate with researchers and project managers to align evaluation standards and project goals. This is a flexible freelance engagement requiring 10–30 hours per week. The expected duration is approximately one month, with a possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
