Requirements

  • 2 years experience preferred supporting adults with developmental disabilities
  • 2 years experience in Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Field Supervisor SLS, ILS, CIT and PAS
  • 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience with supervising 5 - 30 employees
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a California Driver’s License.
  • Candidates must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.
  • Must have First Aid / CPR.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

  • Supervising staff, leadership, staff development, training, performance improvement, and management of key services in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Effectively interact with the individuals and their circle of support regarding the processes of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
  • Review referral packets, assess the consumer, and coordinate with the consumer's counselor at the local Regional Center.
  • Work closely with clients' family members to guide and support them with Redwood Family Care Network services while maintaining documentation and assisting with community outreach to market the program.
  • Knowledge of Title 17 and 22, federal and state laws, regional center department of social services, Individual Program Plans, and behavior modification programs.
