About The Position

SAIC is seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert in the developing, deploying, and sustaining a National Security Space system. The role involves providing recommendations and enabling effective processes and procedures to protect the nation's space programs. The position is located in El Segundo, CA, and focuses on supporting the Horizon contract within the Space C2 Program Management Office. The analyst will collaborate closely with the Space Systems Command's (SSC) Battle Management Command, Control & Communications (BMC3) Program Executive Office. Key responsibilities include contributing to the development, deployment, modernization, and expansion efforts of the Space C2 program, with an emphasis on Agile software best practices. The role requires in-depth experience with DoD program acquisition processes and documentation, and daily interaction with numerous stakeholders including Program Managers, Product Owners, Users, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, and external/partner organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Support various systems architecting and engineering activities based upon analysis related to threat awareness, force protection, indications and warnings, mission planning, target development, and damage assessment.
  • Manage intelligence and interface requirements as well as associated verification activities.
  • Provide intelligence support for planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy to include analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, and targeted vulnerability.
  • Support development of system engineering items such as CONOPs, requirements definitions (or features, themes, epics), and interfaces to other application development efforts.
  • Support the development and refinement of acquisition strategies as well as identifying program execution issues and provide recommendations when possible.
  • Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor designs and milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements.
