About The Position

We are looking for an individual with a passion for learning to join our Integrity team! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring integrity programs for assets within the Enhanced Distribution Integrity Management Program (EDIMP) scope are developed, carried out, and effective. You would also be providing technical support for distribution assets on integrity matters and play a lead role in preparing technical material. Internally this role is known as Engineer Enhanced DIMP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Preference for Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials engineering.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or another Canadian jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in pipeline engineering, pipeline integrity, gas transmission, or distribution operations.
  • Experience and understanding of pipeline design, construction practices, field operations, and non-destructive inspection methods for natural gas pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Valid passport is required for conferences or trainings.
  • A valid "G" class Ontario driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required and will be validated before hire.
  • Undergo various background screenings that includes but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored medical.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain integrity plans for EDIMP assets, ensuring safe and reliable fitness-for-service.
  • Perform data-driven integrity assessments and evaluate asset condition, risks, and operational impacts.
  • Identify, investigate, assess, and prioritize EDIMP hazards for effective risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (Canadian Standards Association Z662, O.Reg 210/01, Ontario Energy Board, Technical Standards and Safety Authority).
  • Prepare and maintain EDIMP documentation in alignment with internal processes and practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support risk modeling, develop mitigation strategies, and continuously improve the EDIMP program.
