Integrative Health Coach (Contracted)

Indiana Wesleyan University•Fort Wayne, IN

About The Position

The Integrative Hub seeks credentialed Health Coaches to join its care team as 1099 independent contractors. Working in coordination with licensed clinical providers, Health Coaches help clients understand and implement personalized health plans through evidence-based, client-centered processes that support lasting lifestyle change. The role is grounded in Indiana Wesleyan University’s commitment to holistic education, community care, and Christ-centered service. Coaches support clients as accountability partners, drawing on clients’ insights, strengths, and intrinsic motivation to help them pursue self-determined health goals. Coaches work within a defined professional scope. Clinical data assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, and medical interpretation remain exclusively with licensed providers; coaches refer clinical questions to those providers. Coaches with additional nationally or state-recognized credentials may use that expertise within its appropriate scope, provided any dual roles are disclosed and documented transparently. Contractors maintain their own professional liability insurance and manage their schedules in coordination with clinic availability.
