Integrations Specialist - Implementation

Hardenbergh GroupPittsburgh, PA

About The Position

Sentact is hiring an Integrations Specialist to own the integration side of our client implementations — the person who makes sure client data flows cleanly and reliably between our platform and the systems our clients depend on. You'll be the bridge between clients, third-party vendors, client IT teams, and our internal Development group: gathering requirements, writing specifications, coordinating the build, testing with clients, monitoring logs, and troubleshooting issues from implementation through go-live and beyond. You own the coordination, testing, troubleshooting, and delivery of integrations. Reporting into our Implementation, Training, and Support organization, this role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure and equally comfortable talking to a hospital IT team and reading through integration logs.

Requirements

  • Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting ability, with a solid grasp of how data flows between systems
  • Excellent communication — able to translate technical findings for engineers and hospital administrators
  • Experience reviewing logs, gathering requirements, writing specifications, and coordinating with developers
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, integration engines, HL7, SFTP, VPN, and HR/CMMS system feeds
  • Ability to manage a technical workstream independently and drive it to completion

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with healthcare integrations and EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner)
  • HL7 troubleshooting or tooling (e.g., HL7 Soup), integration engines, or logging tools (e.g., Kibana)
  • Background in technical support, SaaS implementation, or client IT coordination
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and Development teams

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrations workstream within implementations, from requirements through testing, go-live, and post-launch support
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, third-party vendors, EHR/Integration teams, client IT, and Development
  • Document integration specifications and coordinate build work with Development (without coding it yourself)
  • Lead integration status calls and troubleshooting sessions with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Test integrations, review logs, monitor data flow, and diagnose configuration, data, vendor, or Development issues
  • Own major integration troubleshooting after go-live to protect client trust and data reliability that are not related to code
  • Keep integration work on schedule so it never delays the broader implementation

  • HSA/FSA accounts
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
